We've been the student staring at a blank logbook at midnight.
Lynktern was born out of a real Nigerian SIWES frustration. The logbook process was broken tedious, anxiety-inducing, and disconnected from what students actually learned. We decided to fix it.
The old way was broken.
For decades, Nigerian SIWES and Industrial Training students have documented their placement the same way: a paper logbook filled in by hand, chased signatures from a supervisor who's rarely in the office, and a technical report written from memory in the final, panicked week before submission. None of it reflects what a student actually did or learned day to day.
Lynktern replaces that with a daily habit that takes minutes, not hours a logbook that writes itself from a few honest bullet points, a report that compiles from entries you already approved, and a supervisor workflow that doesn't depend on catching someone in the hallway.
